Pals is a small hilltop village just inland from the coast. The compact old town is excellent for souvenir shopping and getting those perfect vacation pictures.

Such a beautiful little town! We visited as part of a guided tour on our last day in Spain, such a special place! Most of the shopping here is junky stuff that you can find in the US but the pottery is very nice!

Well worth a visit to experience this walled city. The views are great and the architecture is special. It's small, so you can see it in an hour if you don't want to shop or eat.

Pals surprised us with untouched medieval beauty. It is so well preserved and beautiful place. Also it appeared to be quite comfortable for a walk with a baby stroller, which is not typical for such places. Would recommend for a half-day trip to enjoy castle...More

Lovely town to walk around. Loads of nice shops to browse some had the usual tourist things and others had handmade products. Public toilets beside the library and plenty of parking there

Within the wall you'll find some shops and a few restaurants At the top there's the church and behind it you'll have a magnificent view.

This was an unexpected surprise on a day trip. The buildings at the top of the village of Pals are beautiful - made with some lovely stone and with some great views across the valley.

If you want it to be quieter arrive early or late / avoid weekends. No need for a guide. There is some useful TI info available about the region. It's a good idea to visit the other villages in the area too eg Sa Tuna, Begur... More
