We came here on the Easter weekend, it was a lovely and peaceful experience, a great variety of plants from many parts of the world, with details of the gardens' history, as well as ideas for a sustainable future. Nice outdoor café as well. And...More

Teenagers were a bit reluctant to go, but they did enjoy those amazing gardens as we did. Extremely well preserved and designed. There is a fixed route which takes you almost everywhere in the gardens. Quick visit shall take you 1h, but you can easily...More

I am not really a 'botanical garden kind of guy', but I was certainly impressed by Marimurtra's history. The garden was created by nature-lover Carl Faust Hadamar (1874-1952), and arborists and plant and flower lovers will be in heaven. I can barely tell one plant...More

The garden is a great option for lazy Sunday when inspiration is frail. Easy to reach by car from Blanes or anywhere near by; also from the city center there is a bus that takes you here. Off season it doesn't get crowded, but I...More

The plants and trees are not spectacular, but the views to the sea are awesome! Price is little expensive.

I have just read a review whereby someone mentioned that they had a 2 hour tour of the gardens. I went to these Gardens a couple of years ago and may do so again when I arrive next month - they were that beautiful! If would be great to do it with someone who knows their stuff. Does anyone know how to arrange a guided tour? Thank you!

There is no a guided tour, you just buy the ticket and follow the paths...depends on you if you want to spend 1 hour or the entire day walking around (it's not a big place)

You could get a taxi from the station directly to the Jardi Botanic. That would be the quickest if your time is limited. If you are four people that would probably also be the cheapest way to go. Alternatively, you could... More
