If you want to see what inspired Dali in much of his work, a trip to his home is a must-do. This is where he and Gala lived for 6-7 months of the year in Spring and Summer and where he produced most of his work. A row of fishermen's cottages knocked into one house with stunning gardens and pool... More

Cadaques is a very picturesque town often overlooked by tourists. The Dali House is quirky, unique and great explanation by the guide. So surreal to see the Dali's unfinished original painting still on the easel. Wear sturdy shoes for a hike to the Dali house. Very worth it!

This is worth a visit on its own, the guided tour is fabulous and leaves you ample time at the end to explore the garden and take in the views, while also posing inside the 'egg' sculpture for photos.

The building that turns reality to a new subconscious level of imitations and realizations of body-soul connections.

We absolutely loved the Dali Museum in Figures, so on this return trip to the area we wanted to see the house museum in Cadaques. The ride into town is extremely winding and precarious – – I would not want to drive it in bad weather. We were also slightly underwhelmed with the hotel we stayed at overnight. It is... More

We had a great time at this place. .Every bit as great as the museum in figuers. it's a bit of a challenge getting down to the coast but it;s worth it. The man at the souvenier shop apparently was a guide in the area and is very helpful. I think hi name was Eloy. He recommended two restaurants in... More

Joined a tour which included visiting this private residence of Dali as an option. A very interesting & worthwhile visit. Don't think we'll visit without joining this tour though.

Welcome to the private living space of Dali. This was a fun tour- it was great to see a more intimate side of Dali and his quirkiness. I especially loved the idea of the cricket cage in his bedroom on the wall- what a clever idea- a primitive "white noise" machine, ingenious! After having been at the Dali museum in... More

After visiting Figueres for the Dali Theatre-Museum we continued on to Cadaques for lunch and then on to Port Lligat to visit Dali's home. This was all part of the Tour4Fun Costa Brava Day Tour out of Barcelona. The home consisted of many rooms each providing a look into Dali's life and work. Between the visit to his museum and...
