although we were given to understand it has the most expensive yachts but as we are not too bothered about yachts, that did not interest us. What intrigued us were the fish that swam in the harbour. We actually saw a big barracuda! Amazing!

Upscale marina with designer shops and lots of restaurant choices, excellent place to wander round and you can also catch the water bus from here to Puerto del Carmen. Lots of very expensive $$$$/£££/€€€ yachts from all over the continent, worth a stroll just to...More

I found the shopping pretty disappointing unless you want flip flops but there were a couple of gift shops - the required aloe shop among them and a range of decent cafes and restaurants. We only tried two coffee bars and a restaurant and they...More

There is a lovely selection of Designer shops. A few nice bars and restaurants. We enjoyed feeding the fish in the Marina. This is where the yellow submarine trip leaves from.

Just when you think you have found the best place on Lanzarote, you stumble across another that's equally breath-taking. Lanzo, you're a beauty!

Calero is a lovely place to visit. Myself and my son went on Tuesday for the market. It’s only a small market and the prices are quiet high. Lovely experience though. The harbour is amazing, the boats are stunning. We caught the water bus which...More

This is a lovely marina. The shops are all designer and expensive but it's great looking at the super yachts in the marina and fantasising how the other half live. Also the submarine experience is located here and well worth it.

You can walk ,buses run around every 30 minutes but are very unreliable. The water bus is better ,and more enjoyable. If you wished you could even walk.

Hope this helps. I think Tuesday seems to be the main day that excursion trips from other resorts head for the market. It doesn't mean that there isn't one on Friday but my guess is that Tuesday is the main one. Enjoy... More
