Shh ! Everybody will find it.

This really is the undiscovered on Lanzarote, unfortunately for us it will not stay that way, which is fortunate for them. The quiet is tangible and very enjoyable. We have been... read more

Love this place it's not posh and fancy its just how it is a few nice tapas bars pebble beach and also you can walk or cycle in Los Ajaches mountains mountain bikes only! And only for the fit with good technical ability on a bike

This really is the undiscovered on Lanzarote, unfortunately for us it will not stay that way, which is fortunate for them. The quiet is tangible and very enjoyable. We have been going for lunches here for around 8 years and almost nothing has changed, I doubt I will be able to say that in another 8 years. Having seen a... More

The reviewer who said Playa Quemada is like a scene from a spaghetti western has absolutely nailed it. This place is very, very easily missed and you should make the time to drive to it even if you decide it isn't for you. I drove to it and, in my entire visit, saw 3 people. Two were sat on the... We walked from Puerto Calero (it's not far!); it's like walking into a deserted village in Leone's vision except the pistolleros don't appear. More small boats than people evident. We didn't eat in the beachside restaurant Casa Tino as we arrived at 11am and had a drink but we wish we had. On another trip there we will.

Our first visit to this beach was definatly a Shirly Valentine expeareance. It has built up a bit since then 1996 but still a great place to go for a relaxing lunch and if you are not driving a nice bottle of wine. Take the kids alond they can swim off the rocks. Dont miss it

Quiet place, a few restaurants on the seafront. If you just want a walk or chill out with peace and quiet this is a lovely place to go..

Absolutely lovely restaurant Casa Tino. We came here twice on our stay in Lanzarote and the service and staff were amazing. The owner was fantastic and always greeted us and took the time to speak to us. He even invited us back on our last night for a free meal! Absolutely lovely gentleman. This is listed as "the last unspoilt fishing village in Lanzarote" and it certainly is. Absolutely gorgeous with a unique, peaceful atmosphere. Tiny artists cottages right on the rocky, black shore are decorated with their work and with tiny cactus planted gardens. There are several restaurants also right on the ocean serving local food - no english pub grub here!... More

Stayed close to here years ago and never got to call in, we thought it would be just a house or two by the sea anyway! So this visit to Lanzarote we decided to trek down and find out what was actually here! Not much, mainly a few houses and a lovely rocky beach. There are three restaurants here and... More
