Overview
More
A winding, hairpin road between the Tramuntana Sierra and the Mediterranean Sea leads to the small fi shing port of Valldemossa. Mallorca's craggy coastline shelters this delightful mariners' village whose houses are now summer residences. It is also one of the few northern ports that is sheltered and equipped for anchoring boats. The beauty of the countryside inspires you to engage in sports such as rambling, climbing and diving, while the port itself is the perfect place to take in the sights, smells and sounds of the sea..

SO, Where to begin...I researched places to snorkel for my daughter and her husband. We were staying in Alaro about 25 mins drive away and the reviews were good. Somewhere to park on the coastline, two nearby restaurants/bars, clear waters...also mentioned was a narrow access...More

We have 2 kayaks at the Puerto. Beautiful location once you get there. Don’t be put off by the long twisty narrow road which is ‘heart in mouth’ at times. Really worth a visit. A favourite of cyclists as 400M climb in 6KM

Not sure why some people would complain about the narrow road, that's part of the port's charming nature guys. Just keep your eyes open, drive carefully, use the car's horn to acknowledge your presence when needed and you will be fine. Great little port, beautiful...More

Well worth the drive. Great winding road! Once at the town it is absolutely picturesque... Nothing open in the winter so take a lunch and sit by the water... You'll be surrounded by cats!

If you like to explore spontaneously like we do, drive the 6km snaking road down to Port Valdemossa. We were there at the end of a late December day, so nothing was open. But the view was spectacular - and the ocean was really crashing...More

Not much happening. Time driving down and up could be better spend somewhere else. ( Hope to never get a car coming from the front on that road!!!! ). Only living thing seen was a little dog. Perhaps better in summer.

QUAINT LITTLE TOWN, COBBLED STREETS, HANGING GARDENS AND BEAUTIFULLY LAID OUT. Stopped here on an Island Tour, and glad we did. Well worth a visit, and a chance to sit back, Have a coffee & watch the world go by.

It's probably my favorite of all the towns in Majorca. Quaint little narrow streets, lots of shops and restaurants

Hello, Yes, it is possible to go down the road or mountain path, but there are no taxis to return to the village.
