Beautiful little park that feels like an oasis after the hustle and bustle of the riverfront, some market stalls, but a definite feeling that this is a park of the people of Porto rather than tourists, very relaxing.

We visited this hilltop "park" on a couple of occasions as it seemed to benefit from a cool breeze and was a lovely respite from the humid conditions on the Porto side of the bridge. The gardens themselves aren't up to much (I'd take something to sit on if you plan to sit on the grass (although there are a... More

It should be more taken care of. A few kids (teens dating/playing) and old people playing card games. Worth the visit for the views over Porto.

It's small garden/park with some benches but what is really makes it worth visiting is green grass you can lay on or sit on and enjov view of Porto city centre along with Duoro River and bridges. Cool place to chill out and catch some sun!

Located just over the bridge (Villa Nova de Gaia side), this small park/garden affords sweeping views across the Douro river and the city of Porto. The view is absolutely stunning and it was one of few places not teeming with tourists.

When we visited there was small market with people selling handmade products. Since the weather was good we just sat on a bench and enjoyed the scenery.

We walked across the top deck of the Pont Luis adjacent to the Metro tracks and happened upon this garden just behind the cable car entrance. There are plenty of excellent vantage points giving fantastic views from this area and worth the effort.
