Very good visit and show. Beautiful voices! I would go back again. The show is for everyone. You will enjoy!

We chose the Calem winery in order to support one of the smaller producers (as opposed to obvious choices like Sandeman), and since my wife likes fado music we figured why not? We were, however, a bit weary of the combination, obviously aimed at tourists....More

The tour covered the basics of port simply & clearly. A good foundation for our wine tour the next day. The fado was outstanding- especially the female singer who conveyed each song with such emotion that understanding the words was unimportant. A lovely evening at...More

An eye opener and drink, very educational it makes you think about your next glass of wine. I enjoyed it very much. Also the tasters were excellent indeed. Worth a visit.

A very interesting visit to museum, followed by a guided tour of cellars. Quirky projection of information on the barrels. The tasting took place in the Fado which was lovely.

This was more of a mid day thing and go before you have alcohol. Port is a good percentage of alcohol and drinking and then doing this tour and the music in the evening may put you to sleep. The Music or Fado concert is...More

I loved our tour guide he had so much energy and passion for the production of Port. His enthusiasm helped set the tone for the night! The Port tasting is just two samples of wine, but the pours were enough to last through the show....More

We were recommended this place as it had ‘free’ Fado show, which was not the case ( they charge Eur 21 for tour with Fado, Eur 9 more than normal tour with the tasting of 2 wines). The ‘tour’ was unimpressive, the Fado show okish...More

The band was very good, the singer was just great and it lasted 15 songs i think, so it’s a good deal. It has a touristic feeling on it, but it was overall a good experience. I guess they could use the chance to sell...More

I was not impressed with this tour, tasting, and fado show. The "tour" was not particularly informative, you can learn more by reading the port wine description in a popular guidebook or on the internet. About all you see on this tour are some big...More
