Had a nice visit to the Wine & Soul winery. A smaller boutique winery located 10 min from Pinao. Our hostess was lovely, and very informative. The tasting was a good selection of wines and ports. Would recommend.

Having been to the Douro previously we were keen to try new vineyards and this one was recommended by a wine shop (Hedonism) in London, we are so glad they did.
The tour was carried out by Vascos, who was great and very informative, sharing knowledge and experiences freely so that we had a great tour. Wine and Soul produce small quantities of great wine that is some of the best that we have tasted.
At the end of the tasting we tried some amazing wines, from their entry level right up to the amazing PINTAS wine, which is exquisite, we cannot wait for our purchases to arrive home.
We will certainly be returning for another visit next time we are in the Douro, the views from here are too impressive to put in to words, just like their wine.

Visited at the quiet time at the end of July as a part of a privat tour. Great tasting and tour, really good wines and olive oil!

If you go to Pinhao, this winery is a must-visit! We were able to make a reservation through our wine tour guide, Jorge Barefoot (also highly recommended). A member of the winemaking team gave us a private our of the winery, followed by a seated tasting of several of their wines. All of the wines were delicious and elegant. And, we were able to meet the owner, Sandra, who is very friendly and told us some of the personal history behind the vineyards and winery.

If you are a serious wine aficionado and are in the Douro Valley and have had enough of the Port experience then head to this newer winery and taste. their still wines. Jose gave us a wonderful tour, especially explaining their technique for stamping the grapes in the night and keeping them cool.
Jose was great and the vineyard is interesting in their experimenting in using cement casks.

We were on a wonderful private tour and it was arranged for us to have a tour and a tasting. Our hospitality person at the winery was GREAT. She explained it all to us in a very informative way and her personality would win anyone over. Her knowledge was not only deep for Wine and Soul but for the Duro as well. It is a last stop on any tour because there is no place to go after that. The wines are some of the best and the tour, Paula, was wonderful.

Located in the heart of the pinhao valley in the Duoro, This is a tiny boutique winery started in 2001 by two experienced winemakers wanting to do their own thing. Today George and Sandra produce a collection of high quality wines and port.
We stopped in for a visit and tasting (€30/pp, appointments mandatory) during our visit to the Douro valley in late September. Like all the area wineries they were busy with the harvest with grapes arriving, crushing and fermentation underway. After a nice tour of their small winery we adjourned upstairs and tasted 2 whites, 2 reds and their amazing 2017 vintage ruby port. The delicious and affordable still wines were quite enjoyable while the port (soon to be released-€70 at the winery) was a true masterpiece.
A friendly place to learn more about the process and to sample some tremendous wines while engaging with some fine people.

Interesting tour given by Vasco. Small vineyard that has grown a lot! One of the winemakers poured us delicious port. That was a treat! Hope we can find their wines in the US!

We had a private tour of Wine & Soul by Vasco. Vasco took us through the winery explaining their process of making wines, attention to detail and some of the challenges that mother nature has provided the area due to unpredectible weather. Following the tour we sat down with Vasco where we tasted several of their delicious wines including Manoella, Character, Guru and port as well as their olive oil. We met Sandra the owner who was very charming and you can tell that everyone at Wine & Soul is passionate about their winemaking. Living in the US we learned that Wine & Soul has a distributor in Texas and look forward to buying more of their wine and perhaps see them next time they visit Texas in the fall. We purchased a bottle of the Manoella to take back to our hotel and olive oil. This is a great winery and highly recommended.
