About the diving spots, i think they are typical of what you can can expect from atlantlic islands close the tropic of Cancer. Great visibility, nice water temperature (21-24° in october) and wonderful landscapes. Without of course comparing to what we saw in the red sea or asia, lots of life too (big fish schooling in some areas, some pelagic, groupers, rays and even a shark in our case). We are both CMAS** divers with around 120 dives around the globe and totally recommand diving there. Our top reco is night diving though, as it was absolutely magical ! About Haliotis Madeira, i think they are atypical in the good way :-). We are extremely happy to have chose this place. We loved our dives with Joanna and Victor and spending some time with them above water. They were paying close attention to us, ensured we were happy with our dives and they did all what had to be done for that. Both of us really felt good with them and happy to join them in the morning. Me and my girlfriend searched for multiple Diving centers in Madeira this October, and Haliotis popped up as one of the fews that were opened during weekends, considering the pandemic crisis. We really wanted to dive so we gave it a shot. We couldn't be more pleased The instructors (Joana and Vitor) were super kind, very humourous, making us feel relaxed and even more excited about the dive. Both of us had a few previous experiences on 12 meter deep dives, but these one was special! The water in these area was super clean, awesome temperature making the bottom visible from the surface. We saw many species and enjoyed a lot the underwater rock formations. If you're thinking about a different day spent in these beautiful island, I'd recommed diving Haliotis for a quick silent and relaxing break.…

The location of the office center in the hotel, close to the boat, pleasant trip to the dive spots and the big fishes are amazing. On top of that the fantastic staff! Highly recommended.
