The museum by itself is worth a trip to Norfolk. The displays are well lit, clutter free, and accessible. The signage is easy to follow but does not infringe on the objects. Beyond the exhibits there is very little else and I am so grateful....More

This is a great, free museum which I was delighted to come across on my trip to Norfolk. We also attended the hour long glass demonstration in the studio which was fascinating. Would definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful attraction. The museum is free and is just the right size. We spent one and half hours walking through the galleries.

We always love going to the Chrysler! We went to a glass blowing class and the over to the museum. The gift shop is nice but has a lot of over priced items, but if you look thru you will find a bargain.

This is one great museum with separate rooms for different periods of times and cultures. Well worth the visit. Allow a 1/2 day at least if you are really interested in art works. Nice restaurant on the premises.

Wonderful selection of glass , both old and new. A favorite was the glass chess set .Also interesting was the small Egyptian exhibit. The movie explaining how mummies were prepared was fascinating. We did not have time to explore the Portugese and Spanish temporary exhibit.

Renovated building re-opened in 2014, free admission, 50 galleries, good gift shop and Wisteria Cafe (good crab cake, a test of a restaurant). A glass blowing studio across the street. But an uneven collection. An attempt to cover bases in Greek, Roman, Egyptian art, and...More

The Chrysler Museum is a welcoming oasis of art in downtown Norfolk. Free entry and parking, beautiful grounds, and a working glass studio complement the extensive collections, which range from ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman times through contemporary works. The glass collection is especially memorable....More

Of course. This is the most amazing Museum, and I'm sure the docents will accommodate any tour you would like.
