The ship isn't open below deck. Once I toured the battleship in Wilmington NC this ships tour was disappointing. I don't think I would take time out if my day to go see it.

There aren't many battleships left in the world and the Wisconsin was one of the last two that were operational. Until recently it was "mothballed" and they could have put it back in service if the Navy needed to. You pretty much have the run of the ship; they have different tours that access different areas. It is maintained perfectly... More

This was a great experience for my son who is 16yr old thinking of being in the military. First time for my husband, son and daughter to see a ship in person and up close. My husband said this was the top of his list after doing Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown. From the museum to the ship, inside and out, from... More

Not only USS Wisconsin but also the close-by Maritime Museum was for me an ideal attraction during one chilly morning; a touch of history, pride and glory days. Affordable prices. The beautiful exhabition of US Navy heritage with competent and friendly personnel.

The exhibits are mainly geared for children and young families. There is nothing wrong in that and it is a good museum for that type of experience. I found it a little lacking in scholarship around some of the exhibits.

We decided to do something different and go explore with some friends and their young children. The history in this battleship is amazing to experience. It truly makes you appreciate those who have served our country to see what their life was like. Great for kids too!

My father-in-law was in the Navy and spent two years on the USS Wisconsin. The tour of the ship was very informative. We were able to tour most sections of the ship. We are planning another trip so we can bring our grandchildren. The guides provided a great deal of information during the tour.

My daughter was in town....so we decided to tour some sites in Norfolk. The Wisconsin has always been on my list....since my Father served on a ship during the Korean war period. To tour the Wisconsin you have to buy admission to Nauticus...that runs about $36 per person for the guided tour....about $27 per person for the self guided tour.... More
