Great park in a great location, but unfortunately always loud with noise from the shipyard across the harbor. It may not sound bad but it's droning and loud. Hopefully they will finish their project, but it's been like this for 2 years now.

Hey it’s free! This park has a perimeter trail with occasional benches and harbor and sunset vistas. It’s along the Elizabeth River Trail and is quiet and beautiful.

Tucked away; nice river views; seating in several spots. Quiet; usually geese nearby. Some walkers/runners/cyclists come by but generally you have the park to yourself - feels safe too!

Find it on a map of the Elizabeth River Trail. The small Park Avenue is on the Norfolk side of the Elizabeth River. It is between the River and Brambleton Avenue. It is also between Chelsea neighborhood in Ghent and the bridge on Brambleton near the NOAA.
