"UNIQUE" in many respects, this is a great place to enjoy a full day of exciting things to do and see. Nauticus is a venue for learning the complexity of the marine world, Naval ships and Merchant vessels that ply the worlds oceans. Many of the exhibits are designed to be 'interactive' for both adults and youngsters alike, although I... More

Great visit for children and adults. A lot of hands on for kids and interesting history for the adults.

I purchased 4 adult and 3 children discounted tickets from the local newspaper which did not include the guided tour of the Wisconsin. City parking was directly across the street and fairly priced. Well designed building and the ship is impressive. The interior of the building was very clean and thankfully warm since it was in the low 40's and... More

My son and I toured the Wisconsin on our own then went back and took the Command and Control tour. it was GREAT! The tour guides had great back stories to tell and made my 10 year-old son feel very special by letting him sit in the Captains chairs. The museum is a great family place to visit, but the... More

I went here with the family on a whim as we live in Virginia Beach. It was really cold out, so we were looking for something to do indoors. This greatly exceeded our expectations. The parking is across the street in a parking garage, so there is a little walk to get to the museum. The museum itself is beautiful... More

I only had a limited amount of time here, but the history, photographs, and interactive displays make it this a must do!

You can easy spend a whole afternoon here WITHOUT going to the big ship next door for the free topside tour. Lots of great displays, including the Pilothouse of the USS PREBLE, the alignment systems for the 16" guns, and a fun you-build-it river channel that my nephews and grandson loved. For the season they even have a Christmas Towne... More

Make sure you and your kids have lots of energy, it is a big ship. It was our first time to visit but our family loved it. We have 2 young kids and they loved all the exhibits. We also walked up and inside the ship, my 5 year old son said oh yeah. It is scary looking down at... More

We always enjoy our visit to the USS Wisconsin Nauticus complex. The museum is very well organized and clean. The emphasis on the US Navy-USS Wisconsin, NOAA, and the Norfolk port facilities are very focused and informative. We also viewed the two movies, (The Living Sea and Aircraft carrier). All in all, a great visit and a very nice facility.... More

Closed on a MONDAY afternoon for a private event. Very disappointing given a 30 minute drive from where we were staying and after driving from texas and making this one of our planned attractions. I could see renting a room, but to close the entire venue and attraction for a private function seems really unreasonable given its one of the... More
