Saw these on our recent stay and the workmanship was excellent . The intricacies of the work shows the skill of those who made them. And the explanation of how they were made was very good .

Although not a huge attraction this is definitely worth a visit as the sand sculptures are very impressive. These are all in an open square so no queuing and it wasn't too crowded so you get a good view and can take some decent pictures....More

This year the sculptures are of dinosaurs. Very clever, they must have taken ages to make. There are also sins explaining how they were made

Visited this years Sand sculptors .... each year they are having a different scene. It is not on the beach located but in the city right next to the ferries wheel and the aquarium and other amusement type of things

Impressive sand art. Free and easily accessible if you are in the neighborhood and either have a special interest or kids - but perhaps not worth the extra mile otherwise.
