Carsulae is a Roman settlement along the Via Flaminia that was effectively abandoned when the major route shifted east. Because of that, there has been no development over it and little removal of materials over the years since the 4th century AD. The site is...More

We were lucky to find this place, which is well hidden in the middle of nowhere :) We met only three more visitors in the whole park, which made the place very unusual and even creepy. There’s enough information in the app and on signs,...More

This is a must visit as one of the hidden gems of this region. Wonderful set up with a personalised app with 3D images finishing off with a short documentry with English subtitles.

Great blend of Roman history and ruins. Lucky to be there when active dig was happening. Amazing to see what they are still uncovering. Worth the 5 euro.

Stunning place to visit and reasonably priced at €5 each, easy to find just followed the signs when we got closer to the destination rather than the sat nav. A must see if you're in Umbria!!!

It was nice to walk among the ancient Roman ruins, good that it had descriptions in English and that it's free for locals. Not good in a hot day. However, very interesting
