A short train journey from Bari, and you find yourself in Alberobello, and unusual looking white houses called Trulli. It really cannot be explained how people managed to live in such small habitats !!

It is easy to see this town in a day. In the center of town, near the fountain, make sure you see the overlook over the town.

An extraordinary town comprised of old beehive style white buildings called Trulli. They are small and were occupied by local peasants. Nowadays they are beginning to be renovated and used as B & Bs. They string along street after street winding through this ancient community.

Rahul, my suggestion would be to grab a couple of friends and share a rental car for the trip. Plan your timing to the minute, allowing extra time for traffic around the car rental return area. See your cruise ship director... More
