All reviews bike ride old railway rented bikes cinque terre flat trail rail line train tracks by foot nice bike great excursion terrific lunch bit boring taking the train couple of hours in great condition easy walk beach front
We stayed in Bonassola and walked this path to Levanto twice. It was faster to walk and more pleasant than taking the train between towns. The tunnels keep it cool and there are some stunning views of the sea along the way. We would love...More
Rented bikes and headed up to Bonassola and Framua from Levanto. Level bike path, well marked and through old rail tunnels. Beautiful sights along the way and terrific lunch in Bonassola, far from the crowds of Cinque Terre. Highly enjoyable.
We took the train to Levanto from Vernazza.Really enjoyed Levanto But the walk to Bonassola was lovely. Its a 25 minute flat walk on an old railway line, flat and though cooling tunnels on a hot day with superb views of numerous bays as you break out...More
Lots of cheep places to rent a bike in Levanto. We didn't plan to do the entire length of the trail but it was flat, easy and beautiful. The tunnels are nice and cool on a hot day. A nice area to swim and fresh...More
We walked rather than cycled and bonosolla was fab. However the walk from there to framura is mostly through tunnels and theres not much to do when you get there. Theres just a train station and a beach cafe its not an actual town seems...More
If you want an alternative to the stifling crowds of the Cinque Terra in July, with a unique biking experience, and only one train stop from Monterosso, this is a highly recommended activity. Hiring a bike from Cicli Lapucci in Levanto at via Rimembranza 17,...More
We hired bike from the Levanto surf shop in the nth of the town. The owner was very helpful and gave clear instructions for the ride and a tourist map. Cost 6 euro for 4 hrs. The ride trough the tunnels is easy to find...More
Really liked this track. You can hire a bike from either town. I would recommend bike over walking. The tunnels are actually quite long, so you would be walking in a very loooooooooooooon tunnel for about 5-10 mins. But with cycling, it is very flat,...More
I dont know if they have double bikes
The battery powered bikes are very easy to use. My husband was 71 and I was 62 and found them great.
If you put the bike on turbo hardly any peadling would have to be done.
I would check with Hotel Clelia for temperature and restaurant question. We went on short cycles and the terrain was great. The hiking depends on the weather as when we were there it was after heavy rain and two of the walks... More
I would check with Hotel Clelia for temperature and restaurant question. We went on short cycles and the terrain was great. The hiking depends on the weather as when we were there it was after heavy rain and two of the walks were closed. I think Levanto is cheaper thatn the towns on the Cinque Terra.
