A hidden gem, I had heard of Herculaneum, I have visited Pompeii but had never heard of this amazing Roman Villa. Five euro for entry and best value visit I made on my holiday. A must see excavation if you are interested in Roman ruins.

You can visit Oplontis in 30 to 45 minutes, plus 3 minutes walk each way from the Circumvesuviano station, you have to check the train schedule. Pierre
