An interesting place in a little village, with beautiful mosaic. Staff are friendly and can help with some additional info (probably ony in Italian).

Staying in Minori came across the Roman Villa ruins. A single small building but we'll worth it. It about 2000 years old with some very well preserved artifacts. We spent about 30 mins looking around. Oh and it's FREE entry, you just sign in. They...More

We stayed in a hotel with the same name and missed the connection at first. ( Must be dim). The place is huge and really interesting. Free to enter, just sign the book. Could do with guides, but an understated jewel.

Just off the main drag and quite easy to find. 20 minutes wandering round is just right. Amazing mosaic and you can still see lots of paint on the walls (faded over 2000 years eh?). The small museum has some English guides so grab one...More

Read about this before we went so made a point of going there. Easy to find, about 100 metres back from the beach. Museum at ground level, no entry fee just sign the visitors book. Back outside and down the slope for a wander around...More

A wonderful opportunity to view the excavated villa and view the frescoes that have been recovered and see the model of what the villa would have looked like.

It is right in town and it's free. It is a single building but it is surprising that it not only stands today but also they have built a residence on top of it where people are living! This villa is about 2,000 years old!...More

If you've been to Pompeii, you will probably not find this villa very interesting because it is just a single building. Built between 14 AD and 35 AD, the villa site contains some of the artefacts excavated with the villa. You can also explore many...More

Open from memory 10am. It's not that big but is interesting. There was nothing in English that I remember but I did work out what the items were. worth a visit and then a coffee or lunch locally. Have fun.
