We were told about this museum and it was fantastic. There was a LEGO exhibit. The art made out of legos was wonderful - dragonfly, butterfly, deer, etc. And the kids loved using the giant blocks as well as the regular ones. My grandsons are...More

They blend elements of a zoo, aquarium, science center and childrens museum nicely here. Only complaint is that the virginia skies planetarium show was dreadfully low in content, even our 6 year old was hoping for more.

I have gone here several times when I was younger and I enjoyed taking my family with me. The kids loved seeing and learning about all the different animals here. Will definitely visit again and again!

We had a fun, if quick, visit to the museum today! We loved the cleanliness of the animal enclosures, the informative signage, and the variety and organization of the animals and exhibits.

I've heard rumors but it's still surviving. This is an okay visit. It's like a very small zoo/aquarium/kids area and park combined. Small place to eat inside. Very well kept inside and out. Very peaceful here and worth a day there. It has wolves and...More

It costs $19-$24 for an adult and $15 for kids to enter. If the inside matched the outside, it would have been a ripoff. However, the inside was pretty good and they had some good exhibits. And there is a hands-on area. I think any...More

There is a tank that houses a wonderful sea turtle. He was as big as my eight month old grandson. Awesome turtle!
