Great place for anyone to walk, jog and just enjoy the peace and quiet scenic views that mother nature has to offer. If you plan on doing the whole trail and have kids I would definitely recommend taking some water with you!

Very well kept, safe, walking/runing trail. Best if can go around Oct. 15- 20th when the leaves are changing. Many bridges overlooking the lake. On the rare snow days in Nedwport News, I always went if snow on the ground.

We live very close to the trail so my husband will walk it early in the morning. The trail is well maintained and is the home to much wildlife.
