My date took me to the Plantation for a WWII Re-inactment. It was really neat to see all of the military regalia, the soldiers, everything down to the cigarettes and rations were authentic.

We learned about Endview while planning our visit to nearby Lee Hall. As dedicated Civil War historians, my wife and I can never get enough of antebellum plantations and battlefields. Endview, which was built in 1769, was used as a hospital during the Civil War and as a campground during the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and the Civil... More

Well worth the visit. Beautiful house. Terrific docent. Also, the nature walk was VERY interesting. The house is lovingly restored. Really gives you a feel for the period.

We did a group tour and this place was very cool. It was full of history and the haunted history was very interesting too.

How to word this Plantation I was very interested in the information during the Civil War. This is a very small plantation house with 4 main rooms that you took so the tour is quite short. I was a little disappointed with the tour the tour guide went through some of the items in the history of those items but... More

We arrived at 10:40 on a Saturday after 4th of July so you'd think someone would have been around. The sign on the door said to knock on the administration building but again no one. So we grabbed a walking tour brochure and treked around ourselves. After about 10 mins the kids were bored so we went to try to... More

A great place to learn some history. Wonderful landscape, bring your camera. Wonderful in spring for flowers and early foliage and of course delightful colors of fall. Bring your camera and love of history.

We stopped here on our way to Yorktown. It was a nice little stop, probably about an hour. We had a nice informative tour of the house. It was set up for the civil war time period which I found interesting. We were focusing on the civil war period having done the revolutionary war three years ago when we were... More

We stopped at Endview to see if we could see any of the house! The gate was open but their were no tours on the day we were there so we just walked around the exterior and viewed the well maintained old house, grounds and out buildings! This would probably be a nice house to tour but at least we did... More
