The experience is good value. For ten euros you get a bit of history about the region, some info on how wines are made. A 4D film that is best described as bizarre. If you have children there are plenty of games to play and then a three glass tasting. I have been to better tastings but there is nothing really that lets this down.

So much to do! We saw a great video about the history of the region and a 4D video that scared my girlfriend (so it was very funny). The aromatic garden was my favorite part because of the plants and the garden game where you roll dice and move through stations like Candyland. There is a great gift shop that we went crazy in. Also, every Friday they have a tasting for several winegrowers from one village in the Sancerrois.

Great place to stop by and learn about the town...friendly staff, good selection of local wines to sample for €2/4cl!
They have a really nice patio out back where you can view the vineyards and enjoy the day.

You might think this is just another second rate local museum, but it's certainly not! Follow the route round and you will definitely learn a lot about Sancerre wine making, even If you think you know it all! The exhibits are well maintained and simple but informative, and the "4D" film is mad but lots of fun. Unexpectedly we even got a free glass of wine at the end, though there are a few more to taste for a few Euros more.

This interactive museum has attractions for both kids and grownups.

Kids will enjoy the 4D ride and the video games, while adults will appreciate the explanations about wine making, the garden and the view over the vineyards.

A fantastic place to visit. The town itself is just France at it's best. Great wine tasting, great views, cobbled streets, bars and restaurants galore. In the town there are loads of attractions, old church, tower, grand houses, hotels. Another great opportunity to purchase wines that are produced here and only ever sold in this part of France.

To learn more about the different types of soil within the region. You can also experience the wine making activities in a 4D film within the Maision ending with a degustation du vin.

We went here at 4:30 and were able to complete in under an hour. You have to go slow and read everything to fully understand Sancerre wines. The layout is clunky, but follow the numbers and you will be fine.
