This museum is small, but has so much information about the building of Mulberry Harbor. I learned so much. It was amazing how it all came together. And the views are incredible. They have a nice gift shop. Try to avoid their toilet. Don't miss...More

We were expecting to spend 30 minutes, instead spent 2 hours. The displays showing the construction of the Mulberry bridges, details of various military units and collection of WW II equipment, weapons and uniforms provide a detailed understanding of activities at Gold beach.

A definite stop on your tour of the Normandy beaches. And don't forget to leave time to see all the beaches. Each one had so much information. You stood on the sand and can visualize where the boats landed, the soldier's came on shore and...More

learnt about the d-day landings and the building of the mulberry harbour. Short film well worth watching in the cinema. Good value at 8 euros each. To be able to walk outside and see the remains brought it to life.

We went to the 360 film first and then this museum. I think it was good to do it in that order, as the museum fleshes out the detail. All very interesting and educational.

Luckily not about dead heroes - but about making things work - this museum centers on the building of an artificial great scale harbour to supply the allies after D-day. Several films shown in English and Spanish. Very nice coverage in photographs of how this...More

Not the most modern of museums but well worth a visit with plenty of material on display and a film shown in several languages.
