Flavia was incredibly communicative prior to our trip, we booked from the US & she was happy to answer my several questions in advance. She picked us up promptly at 9AM from our hotel and took us to the dock. After being introduced to our host, we were off for a day at a private island. We were lucky that... More

This tour operator took us to zopango island for an unforgettable day trip! We found them online and they organised everything for us, replying always very quickly. They gave us a personalized service all day long from private transport to warm welcome at the island. High standards and lovely attentions by the owners and their staff. Angelica cooked us a... I visited the Isletas with 5 friends and i book a kayak trip through Nicaragua Dulce for this past sunday. Their guide was very knowledgeable and especially for birds, and the kayaks fun to use and very stable. The larger ones were taken by some of my friends and they thought they were comfy as they had special spaces to... More

Maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe I had the wrong expectations, but overall our tour just wasn't that great. Perhaps I misunderstood. I thought the kayaking the isletas would be a nature experience; I thought we would be looking for wildlife. Seeing a monkey on an island near the dock, kind of a zoo-like set up, isn't what... Hello Lydia, Kayaking in the Isletas is, indeed, a nature experience... Our local guides are here to explain a few facts without been asked and overall help you spoting birds especially, wildlife and other intersting things to observe. But then, they are here to answer your questions you might have. As a nature experience, our guides are not here to... More

They picked us up at 6:30 am and brought us to the marina. We were outfitted with lifejackets and kayaks and sent on our way. It was cool to paddle around the various islands. We saw very modest homes as well as very big fancy homes. We saw lots of birds, only one monkey. It's a nice way to see... More

Not only did we see a half dozen or more new (to us) bird species en route to and on Isla Zopango, once there, we had the most relaxing and fruitful beach, birdwatching, & kayaking experiences of our week long tour. The fresh-caught tilapia for lunch was exquisite. The host family's pets were a special treat for our group of... More

I don't much like giving bad reviews but I must say that the bilingual guide that I had for a three hour kayaking tour with Nicaragua Dulce on 18 January 2015 was the absolute worst guide I have ever had. While he seemed knowledgeable about the lake/wildlife/etc, I had to pry information out of him with a crowbar and he... More

Hello Kiralee! Howdy! I'm so sorry to hear that until now... The bilingual guide you had that day is Jose Ramon Estrada and he is one of the oficial national freelance guides we contrat when needed, like all the bilingual guides (english) we contract for the tours. He is not part of the company and i'm really badly surprised that... More

Flavia facilitated this last-minute tour for us in a great manner. Luis was a very good guide. We had a wonderful, tranquil, and fruitful birding trip to Las Isletas this morning--limpkin, bare-throated tiger herons, turquoise-browsed motmots, many black-headed trogons, northern jacanas, orange-fronted parrots, mcontezuma orependolas, white-throated magpie jays, hoffman's woodpeckers, and a plethora of green herons and egrets--well worth the... This was the early morning birding tour in the electric boat. This is a must for birders and also for those that like to enjoy early morning water exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed this expedition. Yes, it is early - our pick up was at 6:00am! We saw quite a lot, perhaps the monkey we saw was Cashew? Because the boat... More

Hello from Granada Archipelago! Thank you for your post. The monkey you saw was not Cashew :-) You can meet him, next time, at our beautiful island Zopango that is in the same bay where you did the birdwatching tour with one of our silent & slow-paced electric powered boats! Hope to see you again then, 'Cashew' is looking forward... More
