I don't smoke that many cigars nowadays, but when I do, I want a good one. So finding a quality cigar purveyor in Granada was very nice. Mombacho's owners clearly have great pride in their cigars, and now in their stunning new home. Two years ago Mombacho Cigars moved from their original factory/cigar store to an ornate 3-story old early... More

Had some time left in Granada before moving on to Managua and had been recommended the tour of the Mombacho cigar factory. It was very interesting to see how the cigars are made, the tools and the raw materials. The guide walked us through all the steps of the process and showed us the entire production line. It took 45... More

I went here to pick up some cigars for my dad. It was New Year's Eve and he was closed and opened up for me to come in as it was my last day there. Extremely kind of him. Picked up some coffee there as well.

I Was there in december right before new years eve so sadly it Was vaccation time so i could'nt see the rollers or roll my own cigar. But the Staff were wonderful and showed us around the house on a privatetour anyway! Then we sat down and enjoyed the 10 anniversary cigar nicely paired up with a god rum in... More

Tours cost $4 and if you want to roll your own cigar it is $6 more. The tour is very informative from the way tobacco is grown all the way to the cigars. The building is beautiful. All the staff there are helpful and friendly. It is worth a visit. It is about a ten minute walk from the center... More

Bryan was a brilliant tour guide who had lots of information to share with regards to every aspect of the factory. Also, his English was perfect which was very useful as I speak very little Spanish! All the staff were friendly and it's clear that they love their jobs. It's a really interesting tour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I... More

Benoit est un guide incroyable car il prend le temps de bien expliqué et le fait avec une professionalisme exceptionnel. I love the way the quality is such a high importance, no wonder they get great reviews all over the world and their cigar is absolutely a delight! If you want to do a cigar factory visit, this is the... More

This is a unique experience if you want to see cigars made and how the process is from the tobacco to the cigar. You can do a tour of this factory that runs daily except Sunday and even make your own cigar. The staff are great and you can buy cigars in the cigar lunge or even smoke a cigar... More

We enjoyed our tour of the factory- learning and appreciating the process of handmade cigars. We even rolled our own cigar each which was great fun albeit frustrating!! We did a taste test- mombacho vs another cigar factory cigar and mombacho was clearly better- smoother and creamier smoke.
