One of the many things our family had fun doing in Granada was visiting the Mansion de Chocolate. After our initial stop in, my 11 year old granddaughter and I went back for the two hour chocolate making class. We had a high energy teacher named "Kenyn" who put a lot of effort into making the class educational and entertaining.... More

Had breakfast here and loved it. Pancakes, crepes, waffles, yoghurt, eggs, you name it. Place is cool. They have some sort of small plantation with cacao trees and they give you a free tour with info and at the and a tasting of rums and chocolates. Good spot for eatable gifts

We did not stay at the hotel but we did spend a morning learning how to make chocolate. It was so much fun. We went from roasting cocoa beans on an open fire (chanting and dancing to enhance the flavour), to shelling the roasted cocoa beans, then grinding the shelled cocoa beans with pestle and mortar (more pounding and singing... We loved this place and Tony was really great In helping with whatever we needed. A must is the chocolate class with Ishmal! Very fun, informative and yummy!! Flor at the pool bar was also amazing! She went out of her way to find us after we had ordered food and had been called that our room was ready. She... More

Mombacho beach club no longer exists. It is now cacao pool club, in Museo de chocolate. Similar set up 6 dollar entry for pool, entry free with spa treatment.

With the heat of Granada this place is great to go and chill out at. It is $5 for entry. The pool isn't amazing, it is a bit run down, but it does the job. You can also get massages which are reasonably priced and very relaxing. Definitely worth checking out if you need to cool off

We came here on our second last day and it was wonderful. Sure the pool needs to be retiled, but on a scorching day it's a great place to dip in a pool, get a massage, drink tropical macuas made with the local Flor de Cana rum, and lie in the shade staring at a pool and palm trees. And... More

On one of the main streets of Granada is this wonderful pool club! For just 5 dollars , you can swim in a large pool with beautiful breezes to cool you on a hot day. There are plenty of sitting areas(some shaded) and a great bar to get a drink or a sandwich. Each time that we go , we... More

I recently visited the hotel for the day with two young friends, to enjoy the normally-pleasant swimming pool. I was very surprised to find the pool in terrible condition - there are numerous places where tiles are missing from the bottom of the pool and the surface is rough cement, and kids were continuing to remove loose tiles, just for...
