We had a really nice tour with the knowledgeable Gustavo. Thanks to Roberto who drove us there! We also booked Tierra tour in Leon to do volcano boarding and it was nice as well.

We booked the Masaya- Granada and Islands Tour with Tierra Tours. Gustavo our guide was excellent very informative of Granada's history. Visited Masaya Volcano Museum / information center. Shortly after we hiked the trail to the Masaya Volcano. This volcano was active and the views were breathtaking. We also visited Laguna de Apoyo or Lake Apoyo, the souvenir shop and... More

Our tour guide Denis is the Michael Jordan of Sandboarding. Denis was kind and very knowledgeable he helped my fiancé during our hike up the volcano and took amazing pictures for us. This is an experience we will never forget!

We visited Mombacho one day and then had a full day at Masaya, Catarina, San Juan de Oriente and Apoyo. Gustavo is a wonderful tour guide. He had great information about all the places we visited, the children enjoyed listening to him explain about the different volcanoes, climates and forests during our trip.He was patient, attentive and very helpful. The... More

The tour was really good and complete. We went to Masaya, Granda city tour and we added for $20 a tour to the isletas just outside of Granada. The picked us up and dropped us at our hotel in Managua. The price was really affordable. We did not even know that tour included a car pulled by horses around Granada.... More

Trip is well worth going on but was made especially good by our superb guide gustavo. His English is excellent and he clary loves his subject, recounting many interesting facts about the cloud forest. Fun then to finish off with zip wire. The expertise of guiding fully justifies the usd55 fee, which can vary up for smaller groups. Impressed with... More

This tour (which combined a guided hike around Mombacho with zip-lining) was a great day for our family of five. Our guided hike was excellent -- our guide pointed out a sloth and porcupine (which we never would have noticed on our own), as well as giving us other interesting information about the flora and fauna of the cloud forest.... Gustavo of Tierra Tours was our guide for the Masaya Night Tour and a tour of Mombacho the next morning and we had a blast. Gustavo knows his stuff and relays information in an interesting way. His tour included a lot about historical events, local wildlife, geological formations- something for everyone. We never felt rushed along- in fact, he took... More

we bought a tour to Mombacho volcano and initially we were supposed to be 4 participants. While we were supposed to leave at 9 am, if I can recall, we had to wait over an half hour more as they were trying to fill the vehicle, and FILL did they! We were about 10 in the back, including 4 big... More
