I had an incredible experience at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh. Attending the Ganga Aarti was truly mesmerizing, and I felt a deep spiritual connection to the divine. The serene environment allowed me to spend quality time reflecting and connecting with nature, and the peaceful surroundings made my stay refreshing and uplifting. Parmarth Niketan offers a perfect blend of tranquility, spirituality, and nature, leaving me spiritually enriched and rejuvenated.

However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. I spent the entire day waiting for a seat in the main area for the Aarti but didn’t get the chance to participate, which made me feel that things were somewhat commercialized. Additionally, the rooms lacked basic amenities like toothpaste, toothbrush, and soap. Despite these issues, I would still recommend Parmarth Niketan for those seeking peace and spiritual connection.

We happened to land in this Ashram by chance. Actually we were looking for Swargashram Trust but we landed here. We enquired about the stay and we got a room here. The Ashram is situated right on the bank of river Ganga. The Ashram is big with all the amenities like yoga centre, Meditation, hospital, cafeteria, parking etc. The rooms are small but new and clean. The highlight of the Ashram is the evening aarti of the Ganga which is mesmerizing. The room rent for an AC room was Rs 1000. The cafeteria serves variety of menu and rates are comparable with the market. You will feel mental peace as there is something different in the air. As per me it is the best organised Ashrams in Rishikesh.

I highly recommend staying at Parmarth Niketan Ashram if you are a spiritual person.

The energy is amazing. Very peaceful and heart-opening. This is amplified when Pujya Swamiji or Satviji steps into the space.

You can participate in morning yoga at 6.30a., yagna at 8am, yoga 4pm, meditation 5pm, aarti at sunset etc.

My room was clean. Everyone I met at the ashram were friendly. I talked to people from all over the world, including families with kids.

I would go back, if I could!

If you have not attended the Ganga Aarti before this may be a good start. The sanctity of the place and the worship style has deteriorated from earlier.

You may reach a little before time to grab good seats and view. The sun set is so divine to watch as the Aarti finishes.

Please keep your shoes in the shoe racks provided, they give you a token, else chances are you may not find them because of the heavy foot fall.

Overall, the feel is quite commercial as compared to the earlier.

My parents and I, along with my 6 year old son stayed here during our recent visit to Rishikesh. Calling, Rejuvenating with delicious food at Hridayam, the Ashram is simply the best place to stay in Rishikesh. Clean airy rooms, healthy tasty food and spiritual surroundings, this Ashram is where you should stay.

This place is like heaven on earth, the energy is marvelous and the staff very attentive. Probably the largest Ashram in Rishikesh, its accommodations are very comfortable, although they have different kinds of rooms and different buildings. It is always crowded so make sure to reserve with plenty of time.

While the stay at PN Ashram was decent, clean room, linen and washroom, we got scammed of money due to fake Parmarth Ashram Websites who send you fake invoices & receipts. We got scammed by one Shiva Singh with mobile number +918112560898. So please be careful. PA only has a .org website and takes bookings through email 15 days in advance.

There were other families at the reception who had been similarly scammed and it is sad that Parmarth Ashram folks are least bothered about doing anything about this. They should take some action, but they seem unconcerned and totally uncompassionate about people being scammed in their name.

Be careful please.

If you are in Rishikesh, you cannot miss the evening aarti at Parmarth Ashram. The aarti usually happens around sunset. They start playing bhajan before the aarti. The ghat is relatively clean and well kept. There is a place to deposit your shoes and footwear.

I had a very calm and divine experience during the aarti. The aashram members also provided us with aarti thaalis. Its a very soulful experience.

Attended Arti 10th oct 24 with my wife. Huge crowd either side of fenced vip puja area..
Prior to the start of Arti there was a distubance involving two men from another religious group . others in the group interveened and they calmed down..
Next the Security guard was chassing and attempting to beat small children selling flowers to the crowd .. The guard had a tree branch which could have caused serious injury to those children ..
I felt that i was in a packed london football match rather than a spiritual
location . totally disgusted.
My wife and I left early and probably wont attend arti during the remainder of our stay .. .
Ashram grounds are lovely but Arti feels more like a spectacle / performance sorry to say .

This place is near to Ran Jhula and Janaki Bridge/setu. I am sure whenever you search Rishikesh over google you find see a big statue of Lord Shiva ...that is here. Evening arti starts at 5 pm daily anyone can attend this arti. There is a big statue of Hanuman Ji also. Shiva statue looks very calm and you can feel that you are in Rishikesh. Peaceful place must spend sometime in the evening near shiv ji & ganga river.
