About
Yoga Vini is a certified yoga and Ayurveda school in Rishikesh, India, offering RYT 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Courses. We're aiming to encourage more and more people to seek peace and happiness within themselves rather than in the external world, and providing the ancient tools of yoga and Ayurveda as was discovered by Indian sages more than 5000 years ago. Our insightful and unique program is based on our belief in the importance of the spine; how it connects our outer and innermost being, and making the ancient tools of asana, pranayama and meditation more connected and easier to understand.

I can really highly recommend this TTC. What I loved most about this program is the dedication to providing an authentic teaching of Hatha yoga and sattvic lifestyle. I can imagine that that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, however it was exactly what I was looking for personally. Besides the high quality of the actual teachings/ classes, I really enjoyed the fact that uniforms were required and we stuck to a sattvic/ ayurvedic diet during the course. For me, it really added to the teaching and allowed you to immerse yourself better into the yogic lifestyle, which I found to be very valuable. The food was really delicious and nourishing. Although the rooms were basic, the Ashram and its surroundings were really serene and a perfect environment to do a program like this. I think it’s truly so much better than doing your TTC within the hustle and bustle of Tapovan, which has so many distractions and disturbances. The teachers Vini and Tina are also so knowledgeable about yoga and were truly great teachers, I really enjoyed being their student. All in all, if you’re looking for a high quality, no BS Hatha yoga TTC, I can highly recommend this one!

It was my first time in India and I'm a beginner at yoga, so I was quite nervous, but when it was over, it had become an irreplaceable month of my life.
Yoga is not just about holding poses;
By learning about Indian culture and religion through yoga philosophy, I was able to spend time facing myself and what it means to live.
If you're still unsure, I recommend just going.
What you feel will be different for each person, but I think you'll gain your own realizations.

I've been doing yoga casually for over 20 years, but a few years ago I started to want to learn more deeply and I started thinking about going to India. I was supposed to go before the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was canceled at the last minute, so I was finally able to try again this time.
Yoga Vini is currently in a wonderful environment.
I had an incredibly fun and enjoyable time with everything I saw, smelled, heard in nature, everything I touched, and the ingredients and spices that Vini carefully selected and treasured, all five senses.
Vini said that the environment is prepared for the students who come here. I was happy and comfortable to be able to experience all of that.
And the food is delicious.
I've been studying Indian home cooking for a few years now, so that part was also very interesting and fun, and it was a good learning experience.
I wanted to stay longer.
I didn't even want to go home lol
The asana classes, meditation classes, philosophy classes, and other learning I felt in such a place have become irreplaceable and important.
I was a little older than everyone else, but I can't help but love the friends I met.
I'm grateful and respectful of everyone and everything I met here.
I want to spend more time with Vini Sensei, and there's still so much I want to learn from him.
No amount of time would be enough.
I want to incorporate what I've learned from Vini Sensei into my own life and just carry on.
There's nothing but great, magnificent love from Vini Sensei.
All I have is gratitude and learning.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I'd like to see Vini Sensei again ♪

Anyway, I'm glad I went!
I participated in this course with the aim of becoming a yoga instructor.
Before I went, I was anxious about becoming an instructor, but after I returned, my goals became more precise and I noticed myself growing.
Not only did we learn yoga, but we also touched on philosophy, so it's recommended for those who don't want to become yoga instructors or who don't do yoga but want to face themselves!
Everything from diet, water and salt to the timing of yoga and meditation was planned, so many people felt changes in their bodies!
I was able to get through the tough schedule thanks to my friends who shared the good times and the bad! The month went by so quickly! It was fun!

I participated in TTC200 in October 2023.
I was very moved by the love and enthusiasm of the teachers.
I was blessed with wonderful friends and had fun every day, and it was a great experience.
I learned a lot about yoga, yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, food, Indian life, Hindu culture, and more, making it a once-in-a-lifetime treasured month.

I completed my 200hr certification a year ago now. I wanted to leave it for some time before I gave a review as I thought I could give more and make it more meaningful. I can confidently say that this is absolutely worth your time, whether completely new or an experienced yogi. Vini goes into great detail about the impacts of yoga on the body and mind, and also the philosophy. What I learned has changed my daily habits (right down to how I walk) and impacts my movement positively in all movements that I do, including other forms of exercise.
The location of the school is just lovely. Such a nice wee town on the river.
The food provided by the school is great, the accomodation is really nice and the instructors are also great.
Yoga Vini provides you with the full experience, this is so much more than just the asana.

It's not just about learning yoga, but also about facing yourself, and being in a well-balanced environment that covers everything from diet to exercise and mindset. I was able to face myself for a month, look at my weakest points and the pain I've been through, and purify myself. I feel like I've grown in so many ways.
I'm happy just to be alive! This is a place where you can truly return to your true self and experience "A way back to life"! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to improve their mental and physical health.

Immerse yourself in yoga for a month!
As soon as the class started, I realized that my constipation disappeared in an instant due to the improvement of my lifestyle habits, my eyesight improved due to the digital detox, and my body became lighter.
I woke up at 5:00 in the morning, and the class started with a breathing technique class at 6:00. Not only the asanas, but also Bini's yoga philosophy was a continuous discovery and learning every time. Puja (prayer) was held every day in the afternoon, candles were lit and we meditated at night, and the lights were turned off at 9 p.m. (often too late...) Every day passed by in a flash.
Personally, I wish the asana classes were longer...
There were some problems, such as the teacher being replaced during the class, and I had some thoughts, but I was able to overcome them together with the wonderful participants.
I was also grateful for the warm support of the staff.
*It was quite hot in September when I participated, so many people got heatstroke and colds, so please take precautions!
I was also bothered by mosquitoes and ticks, so please take precautions against insects!

I have participated in Bini Sensei's TTC twice. I participated again because I had not forgotten the experience I had four years ago. I have evolved since the first time four years ago, and the one month of learning went by in a flash. I was taught how to approach yoga, how to think, and how to eat through daily life. There is no doubt that by the end of the course, both your mind and body will be in good condition. I highly recommend it.

The experience we should all have at least once in our lives .
I feel a huge urge to share how stunning I feel after this immersion of taking care of myself and also the other.
I came looking to be with myself and to know myself better but I discovered that taking care of myself and having respect for my body and for what it tries to tell me many times but I couldn't hear because of the hustle and bustle that is my life and mind.
Thanks a lot to teacher Vini for all his love for yoga and for sharing everything with us in such an easy to trust way. Thanks to Mitra for dedicating his time and joy to help, to my dear Riluu who is a hurricane with so much energy and has a big heart, to Kiki for being attentive to everyone, to Ashish for being so approachable and enjoying sharing conversations, to Shuban for doing the most amazing backstage work ever and to the cooks for allowing me to have the best and most suitable food during all these days.
But a special thank you to the whole group that shared this experience with me, you are all very special and proof that Language doesn't matter Love is universal. I will keep you forever in my heart.
thank you.

do you recommend me staying here or elsewhere? i am planning to travel alone and am a female. where should i stay. i also wish to do some meditation courses. what do you recommend?
Written 15 December 2017
Staying here at the guest house is a nice option. I have been living here for several months. It's handy as the studio is just upstairs. There are plenty of meditation centers around here... including lots of Osho centers if you're interested in that.
