The Ganga aarti is one of the best attaractions at Rishikesh. Zostel Rishikesh organised our trip to this place and the experince was just beautiful and mesmerising

plan the evening well in advance... the lanes are narrow to reach there... walking gets u there faster. Reach half hour before sunset - so plan accordingly from ur respective hotels. Take Sunglasses/Hats/Caps as the sun sets right opposite where you will be seated. Simply...More

A must experience at sunset across the Ram Julha bridge on the ghats every night at sunset. The fire ceremony is magnificent. After purchase puja candle and flowers and send a prayer into The Ganges.

A number of pandits do arti parallely on different tables. People can also join. Different experience to watch the arti being done by a number of pandits in natural surroundings.

Dear Makoona, Its simple....be three an hour early (e.g. evening timings are 5.30 in winters) so get on the har ki pori ghat by 4 pm and take seat on the front row straight in front of the ceremony stage. You will be able to... More

Dehradun may be around 32 in the day with cloudy weather in the evenings.Mussoorie will be nice and cool.Please carry along light wool lens and an umbrella.As climatic changes are the norm of the day Please cross check... More

As the festival is on 10th I don't think you will have any issues. As you will go towards Dehradun and on to Mussoorie you would be moving away from traffic and crowds . Please double check with your hotel too.
