    My second home always ❣️
Vinyasa Yoga Ashram holds a special place in my heart. My journey here was truly transformative. The teachers’ depth of knowledge and expertise created an enriching learning experience. They guided me on a journey of self-discovery, helping me unlock new levels of growth in my practice. The supportive and nurturing environment fostered personal development and allowed me to upgrade myself in ways I never thought possible. It was my first solo travelling and i could not beleive how smooth journey it was here in the Ashram. This is the best place with its hospitality and food . Staff members and kitchen people always supported me . I would like to thank anuprita mam who was there like a mom to me when i was in pain. Thank you to all the respected teachers and staff who turned Ashram to Homely Feeling .Will see you soon for my 300hrs 🙏🏻❣️

    Moving here!!!!
With only a few months of yoga experience (I had never heard of Ashtanga or Hatha - so, yeah…that kind of few) I decided to travel all the way to Rishikesh to follow the 200 hours course. Not with the intention to become a teacher, but just to learn more. And I absolutely did. All the angsty cliches were there: Will I be physically able to do it? Will I fit in? Will I even like it? Yada yada yada….And - big shocker! - the answers were ‘yes’. Everybody was so kind and welcoming. They all knew my name and chatted with me in the common areas. I felt very at home. I made friends here that I absolutely want to stay in contact with. I miss them already. And, no, I couldn’t do a headstand on the first day there, but you don’t even have to. You start from the very beginning, gradually working towards the more advanced asanas (I’m looking at you, crow pose). I felt my body getting stronger every day and by the time we attempted these postures, we all were surprised by our own abilities. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and diverse in their style of teaching. Yet every class was a nice balance of serious, formal lecturing while maintaining a lighthearted atmosphere. Classes did not feel like an obligation, you want to attend and learn from them. If I could’ve stayed for the 300 hours course, I would’ve done it in a heartbeat. But I couldn’t, which means I have a great excuse to come back next year and visit Rishikesh and Vinyasa Yoga Ashram again. <3 And I honestly can’t wait. In the meantime I will continue to delve into the yogic discipline with as much zeal as I’ve felt this last month. PS. I’m good at volleyball. (Pradeep made me say it)

    200Hrs Teacher Training Course
Well well where to start from? Perhaps I left a piece of my heart at VYA. The teachers not only welcome you in the class but also encourage you in personal life’s. One thing about them is they are available at any given time and always ready to help you. I personally came across few instances where my friends needed urgent help and medication and all the crew rushed to help us at all times. It may seem like it’s too much to handle from morning till evening and it may seem boring but all the lectures were really really interesting and informative about our own self’s and our bodies, hardly anyone would get bored or not wanting to attend the classes. As well as they would add some fun factors in class. Another thing about the lectures that I loved were each teacher would start and end the class with some prayer here they taught us how to be grateful for all the knowledge that’s coming towards us. Every teacher gave us a different perspective to look at our selves and how to get better. We all came alone to the course and we all left with a huge family who will always stay by our side. Rishikesh always blesses you with the best people in life and that’s what exactly happened. So grateful to have been here and learn from the masters of VYA. Thank you to all:)

I started my yoga journey almost 2 yrs back and heard about yoga TTC around a year back, I wanted to do it since then. I did my research and found VYA at Rishikesh. I must say, it was one of the best descision of my life to do 200 yoga TTC at VYA. All the teachers here are so welcoming and friendly. We had so many classes in a day- Ashtanga, Pranayam, Philosophy, Vinyasa flow, anatomy, alignment and Meditation. I learnt so many things new here. Vinyasa yoga was one of them. Vinyasa yoga makes me feel free and let my body and mind just flow, and Meditation made me learn more about myself and connect deeply within my heart and soul. Overall it was a surreal experience. Got a chance to meet so many beautiful souls in my batch who made me feel home. Administrative staff, teachers, assistant teachers etc.. each and every person at VYA were so helpful and available at any point of time. Most fun part was excursion and Kirtan. I feel like I've left a small piece of my heart there and wish could have stayed longer. Didn't even realised how a month flew away. Will be coming back soon VYA!! Till then I'll keep practicing whatever learnings I have taken home from here :))

    Great learning
The teachers are very good. Each class has an assistant teacher to support the main teacher so we could easily approach extra help whenever needed. all the teachers were very attentive and we got a lot of time and attention from them so we could improve. Great learning experience. Institute is well located. The rooms are clean and spacious and the meals are simple and healthy.

Have done the YTTC 500 hours at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram was one of the best experiences of my life no doubts.
Vinyasa Yoga Ashram was my home for two months, everyone was very hospitable and friendly, I didn't feel alone at any point, the accommodation was very comfortable as well as the food is amazing and I miss it so much these days. The ashram has an excellent professionals who allowed me to reach my goal of deepening my yoga practice and being able to teach my own classes with excellence, much more than just asanas, but everything that involves the philosophy of yoga. I really recommend the school for sure and would do it all again without thinking twice.

    Exceeded all my expectations
Doing my Yoga Teacher Training at this school was the best decision I could have ever made. The teachers are absolutely amazing- knowledgeable, compassionate, helpful,... They truely live what they preach. They also made us feel like family and hold space for each and everyone. The food was good, tha accommodation was basic, but totally okay (could have been a bit cleaner). Rishikesh itself is magical, and the best place to learn about the sacred tradition of yoga. I'm truely grateful for this whole experience, for everything I learned, the people I met and the transformation that has started to happen within myself. Namaste 🙏

    Unforgettable Experience
I am trying to find the words to explain this journey with @vinyasayogaashram but it’s hard to compile it all in a few words. Truth is, I came with no expectations and left with a heart full of love and knowledge that will keep me grounded and calm in life. I was humbled. Truly. This journey was more than just perfecting my asanas or getting the certified 'yoga teacher' status. This journey was about self-development and self-expression of mind, body and soul. It is about stripping down to your purest form, letting go of your ego and turning up to class with an open mind ready to learn from some incredible teachers. Teachers that will support you throughout, that will guide you if you have any doubts and that will turn up to class with a warm and positive attitude enough to brighten up anyones day. The 200hrs course was an insightful into yoga, but if you want to go deeper into teaching methodology then definitely take the 300hrs. I am grateful for each and every person in this school. From the kitchen staff who made me tea when I was sick, to the cleaners who took care of my room and always greeted me with a smile, to the teachers who changed my perspective and my life and lastly the incredible group I had the absolute pleasure to be a part of. This place holds a special place in my heart for now and forever. Namaste.

Vinyasa Yoga Ashram is the Best!
Without a doubt, my stay at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram was transformational. This was my second trip to Asia to study under the Vinyasa Yoga Ashram family. Food was excellent, I must say, and is designed for the yogic lifestyle that we are there to learn. We traveled into the mountains to watch amazing sunrise at temples, and meditated on the banks of the Ganga. We received free chakra balancing through sound healing, as well as free massage and an introduction to aerial yoga! I returned simply to draw from the immense wealth and experience from Pradeep Ji, the most amazing yoga instructor!. I left with a wealth of knowledge and experience from every teacher of the Vinyasa Yoga Ashram family. They too are so experienced and helpful that it is a true blessing to study with them!

Vinyasa Yoga Ashram is the best place to go for if one is serious about learning yoga.
1. Teachers: A school is but as good as it's teachers. All the teachers here have profound knowledge in their respective fields and and keen to help us learn and answer our doubts. I have learned immensely in just a short span of time and wish to learn further from them. No words can express my gratitude towards them for touching our lives in numerous ways. Ashish sir, Bhavesh sir, Pradeep sir and Rohit sir 🙏🙏🙏
2. Vibe: The school has a very friendly vibe and one feels like belonging to the place right from day one. The energy of the place is always very positive. One gets opportunity to meet different people from different walks of life, all here to make their lives better. there is no dull day in the campus.
3. Location: The Campus is located away from the noise of the city. The constant sound of stream flowing next to the school adds to the serenity of the place..

The curriculum is very efficiently designed so all that you learn is actually very practical and can be applied in day to day life as well, even if you don't want to be a yoga teacher I would highly recommend you to go for this program which will definitely help you to drastically improve your lifestyle.

My goal of doing the 200 Hr YTTC course was to gather knowledge, understand the basics of techniques, methods about yoga.

Vinyasa Yoga Ashram has met all my checkboxes. The staff was professional, and knowledgeable with wisdom and seem to be authentic and friendly in supporting my goals.

Dedication is the most important thing and Vinyasa Yoga Ashram teaching staff seem to have it. I recommend this school is best for anyone looking to enhance yoga knowledge may join any suitable YTTC program.

Practicing yoga in Yoga Vinyasa Ashram ( sometimes even on the rooftop overlooking Rishikesh at sunrise/ sunset) was to perfect to describe it in words. The course was delivered professionally, it was well structured and all questions we had were answered quickly.
All the instructors are brilliant in their own way and made the practical and theory sessions exciting, dynamic and inspiring.
My yoga practice has developed enormously with their support.
Management was very supportive in all matters.
I very much enjoyed all of the Sunday excursions.
The accommodations were clean and the food provided sometimes become a little repetitive but always super delicious vegetarian meals.
Big thanks to the Management, Instructors, all students and all of the staff for making this an unforgettable experience.
I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone who wants to feel authentic spirit of yoga at the heart of its world capital Rishikesh.

The best part of this school is teachers and staff here. Teachers are so helpful and knowledgeable. Location of the school is beautiful as well. The sunlight and mountains add a charm and energy to the morning practice. Also I made some amazing yogi friends here. The journey of this one month was beautiful and the knowledge is helping me to grow. I'm very grateful for this experience and would like to recommend all the aspiring yogi's and teachers to go for this school and lifetime experience.

I stayed here for a 200 hour yoga teacher training course. The daily schedule was well planned and all the teachers were very well educated. The accomodation was ok, the yoga mats and blocks could be better as my mat always slipped on the floor. Breakfast was good, oats and fruits everyday but I loved it. Lunch and dinner also was the same (dal, rice, chapati, potatoes and pepperoni with some spices) every day and I really missed (green) vegetables or other sources of proteins. In some theory classes I wished we would have gone deeper into the topic, for example in anatomy or alignement. I loved the pranayama, vinyasa flow and ashtanga classes as I could improve my physical body and I learned a lot about modifications of postures. The philosophy classes were gamechanging in many ways and a big support in the journey of awakening and living a more peaceful life. We talked about the big questions as well as how to deal with daily obstacles and the teacher made us familiar with different skills to calm down the mind and connect with the self. It‘s now time to take the toolbox and face the challenges back home in Switzerland.
Thank you for this beautiful experience in magical Rishikesh. The vibrations in and around the school area are just beautiful and the whole team works very well together.

I have completed my 200 TTC from vinyasa yoga ashram, i feel that it was the best decision ever made, the knowledge and wisdom they provide is so much that you are going to be forever grateful. The teachers will guide you through every step, help you with small detailings, answer your queries, guide you throughout the journey.
Here they dont just teach you Asanas, but they tell you why and how its done and they teach you the authentic way of yoga .
I was my blessing to be a part of this family .
They always made me feel home.
The rooms we clean, the food was sattvic and everything was so good and the staffs are always there to help you out at any point of time.
It is absolutely safe for people who travel solo like me for the first time.
