- Laura B3 contributionsExceeded all my expectationsDoing my Yoga Teacher Training at this school was the best decision I could have ever made. The teachers are absolutely amazing- knowledgeable, compassionate, helpful,... They truely live what they preach. They also made us feel like family and hold space for each and everyone. The food was good, tha accommodation was basic, but totally okay (could have been a bit cleaner). Rishikesh itself is magical, and the best place to learn about the sacred tradition of yoga. I'm truely grateful for this whole experience, for everything I learned, the people I met and the transformation that has started to happen within myself. Namaste 🙏Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 28 October 2023

Truth is, I came with no expectations and left with a heart full of love and knowledge that will keep me grounded and calm in life. I was humbled. Truly. This journey was more than just perfecting my asanas or getting the certified 'yoga teacher' status. This journey was about self-development and self-expression of mind, body and soul. It is about stripping down to your purest form, letting go of your ego and turning up to class with an open mind ready to learn from some incredible teachers. Teachers that will support you throughout, that will guide you if you have any doubts and that will turn up to class with a warm and positive attitude enough to brighten up anyones day. The 200hrs course was an insightful into yoga, but if you want to go deeper into teaching methodology then definitely take the 300hrs. I am grateful for each and every person in this school. From the kitchen staff who made me tea when I was sick, to the cleaners who took care of my room and always greeted me with a smile, to the teachers who changed my perspective and my life and lastly the incredible group I had the absolute pleasure to be a part of. - Paul S11 contributionsVinyasa Yoga Ashram is the Best!Without a doubt, my stay at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram was transformational. This was my second trip to Asia to study under the Vinyasa Yoga Ashram family. Food was excellent, I must say, and is designed for the yogic lifestyle that we are there to learn. We traveled into the mountains to watch amazing sunrise at temples, and meditated on the banks of the Ganga. We received free chakra balancing through sound healing, as well as free massage and an introduction to aerial yoga! I returned simply to draw from the immense wealth and experience from Pradeep Ji, the most amazing yoga instructor!. I left with a wealth of knowledge and experience from every teacher of the Vinyasa Yoga Ashram family. They too are so experienced and helpful that it is a true blessing to study with them!Visited September 2023Travelled soloWritten 4 January 2024

I had been thinking about doing a 200hr YTT from Rishikesh from sometime and when I came across Vinyasa’s page on instagram I just took the leap with no expectations. I mainly wanted to learn the asana aspect of yoga but i learned soooo much more, all the teachers were so great! they all put their best foot forward and learning what yoga truly means from them was the best experience, complete revelation. I made an entire new family here. I don’t think there anything more and better I could’ve asked for. 💜

With only a few months of yoga experience (I had never heard of Ashtanga or Hatha - so, yeah…that kind of few) I decided to travel all the way to Rishikesh to follow the 200 hours course. Not with the intention to become a teacher, but just to learn more. And I absolutely did.
All the angsty cliches were there: Will I be physically able to do it? Will I fit in? Will I even like it? Yada yada yada….And - big shocker! - the answers were ‘yes’.
Everybody was so kind and welcoming. They all knew my name and chatted with me in the common areas. I felt very at home. I made friends here that I absolutely want to stay in contact with. I miss them already.
And, no, I couldn’t do a headstand on the first day there, but you don’t even have to. You start from the very beginning, gradually working towards the more advanced asanas (I’m looking at you, crow pose). I felt my body getting stronger every day and by the time we attempted these postures, we all were surprised by our own abilities.
The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and diverse in their style of teaching. Yet every class was a nice balance of serious, formal lecturing while maintaining a lighthearted atmosphere. Classes did not feel like an obligation, you want to attend and learn from them.
If I could’ve stayed for the 300 hours course, I would’ve done it in a heartbeat. But I couldn’t, which means I have a great excuse to come back next year and visit Rishikesh and Vinyasa Yoga Ashram again. <3 And I honestly can’t wait. In the meantime I will continue to delve into the yogic discipline with as much zeal as I’ve felt this last month.
PS. I’m good at volleyball. (Pradeep made me say it)

Excellent. I highly recommend. I just completed a 200h YTT and I couldn’t be more satisfied. It was really tedious to pick a school with so many out there but I’m so glad I decided to go with Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. Everything is very well designed and organised. Management team and teachers are very professional and experienced, the classes were very easy to understand, I felt comfortable at all times and felt treated with Love and respect. Accomodation is clean and comfy, WIFI works great and hot water available. Clean drinking water is also available at all times. The food served there is very fresh and tasty as well as healthy. Honestly I don’t think you can find better deal in terms of pricing and overall quality. I’ve learnt so much in just few weeks and feel so inspired that I’ve decided to continue this beautiful journey of learning and self exploration with the 300h YTT. 🙏

I've done my RYS 500 teacher training from this school in the month of September 2021
The staff there, was very humble, and welcoming.
All the teachers were really supportive, always pushing you to do better.
The rooms were clean, hygienic.
Food was good, could be better.
And the location, breathtaking views of mountains.
This past month was really amazing, so much so that I could see the changes within myself.
Would surely recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn yoga.

Had the time of my life here.
High quality teachers, high quality syllabus (the stuff they are teaching us) and high quality food.
Rooms are average (but sufficient), so don't expect more than that on that front.
And several independant sources told me that this school is one of the only schools in Rishikesh that offers such quality, for such a low price. (Even though I don't know the Rishikesh yoga market enough to say for sure)

This yoga school has cracked it!!! How to train yoga teachers. Each of their class is aligned with the other. All the teachers are very experienced and know what they are doing. Teachers give you enough freedom to be who you are while advancing you towards who you can be. Amazing experience- I completed my 300hours yoga teachers training course from here in April and I can say that I am ready to take beginners classes. Thank you to vinyasa yoga ashram, Pradeep sir, Bhavesh sir, Rajesh sir, Ram sir and Yashpal sir.

My time at the ashram was the best experience I could ask for. The amount of learning that has happened in the span of a month is mind blowing! The teachers are so good at what they do. They teach in such a way that a person without any yoga background can understand the basics very easily. They are very approachable and will help without hesitation. I've enjoyed learning Philosophy, Meditation, alignment and anatomy along with Vinyasa and Ashtanga and I'm very grateful for the experience. I'm very happy that I chose Vinyasa yoga ashram for my TTC 200 hours for it was above and beyond my expectations!

I did my 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training from Vinyasa Yoga Ashram (Yoga Alliance USA certified) in Dec’21. And this was my best decision of 2021.
The program is carefully crafted to give you a holistic flavour of not just the Asanas (Astanga and Vinyasa flow) but it is coupled with in-depth understanding of anatomy with alignment – which helps you understand the body and muscle movement better – this helps you get deeper into the postures while giving you the tools to avoid injuries … It also brings out yoga philosophy – not only in theory but also in practice with meditation …
Lastly the instructors are the best part about this course … They are experts in their fields with extensive experience …
The classes are interactive and fun … Instructors break down each asanas with detailed modifications to ensure that everyone in the class is equally engaged and performs the asana as per their body flexibility and strength …
I have personally gained immensely from this course and would highly recommend this to anyone who is keen to get deeper into yoga or wants to teach …
Special thanks to the instructors - Pradeep Sir, Rajesh Sir, Ashish Sir and Bhavesh Sir.
Staff is super warm and helpful too. Right from Mukeshji who helped me with logistics to the cooking team led by Sushilji, Vinodji and Ajay & finally Govindji for keeping my room clean and warm greetings everyday …
I am definitely going back for 300hours to them!
