Powerfull place for feeling Shiva energy. Small temple about 20 km from Rishikesh better to visit in the morning, before interesting to check story about it.

Most go place for all hindus, especially Shiva devotees. Situated on a mountain top, it can be difficult to reach, but worth the struggle.

My family and I visited Neelkanth Mahadev. We visited during festival and that's way it was crowded at that time. This is the good tourist attraction. Always good place to visit.

Neelkant Mahadev is a very religious place for Hindus, located about 40kms from Rishikesh , this place is a very religious place for devotees of Lord Shiva, as per Hinduism , it is the place where Shiva inhailed the poison and saved the world.

You can go Whether it is raining or not. If you like adventure then the foot trek is a good one otherwise take a shared jeep.
