This is a guided tour of very small privately owned natural caverns. Tour consisted of going to only 5 family room size natural caverns which require going up and down lots of slippery wet stair cases and ducking through small cave openings. Lighting was poor in some areas and was dangerous for kids. Our group was too large for some... More

First off, i love caverns so im a bit biased. But i think its cool. Theyre fun to go through, the guides tell you everything you need to know, and they know their stuff. Also a gift shop with a lot of cool stuff. Its worth it. I cant remember the price, but it was not expensive.

The history is interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable. After seeing several other caves this one is not a must see, but if you are in the area it is a complimenting visit to the bridge

If you have never been in a Virginia Cavern this would be an excellent place to start. The steps are not too strenuous and you will experience the unique underground formations that were found hundreds of years ago. I especially enjoyed seeing the underground river that starts 100s of feet below the surface of the ground. Our guide was excellent... More

The whole thing was amazing! How nature grows as time goes by. The sites you get to see and it's just so beautiful and the history is a adventure.

I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley (Roanoke) and had never known that the Caverns existed! Somehow I'd missed it all times I'd visited Natural Bridge in the past - as a kid or when I brought my own kids here. This time I found the Caverns when I brought my 6-yr old granddaughter to tour Natural Bridge. She'd never... More

If you go to natural bridge first, save your receipt for caves for discount. You can buy a combo ticket at caves that includes natural bridge. Nice tour . Bring a sweatshirt or light jacket.

Definitely worth seeing and very close to Natural Bridge. There are a lot of steps and they can be a little slippery. They do put non-slip mats on the steps to try and help it, but they are still wet and I would not recommend for those who are not somewhat physically fit or able to maneuver very well. Otherwise,...
