It was so awesome to see where the most influential man and first president of the United States lived!! His house is amazing and his land is even more beautiful. His grave is on the grounds as well.

The tours are relatively short and to the point. The house tour is 30 mins max and can be done in time for you 2pm. Just make sure to have the house tour time reserved if possible. Otherwise you get a time when you pay the... More

You can go by Metro - rail, then bus. The directions are on the Mount Vernon website. Or you can do the cruise option, but they book up quickly. The cruise option includes the cost if your admission and gives you a set time... More
