The bridge is cool! the scenery under the bridge is beautiful & relaxing. It was windy & chilly when we went, but it would be a great place to pack a lunch & sit & listen to the water (which is crystal clear).

Its a small coverage bride 5 minutes off the interstate and right beside Route 11. It only takes a few minutes to drive through and look, but its well worth the visit.

Four of us went to see this. It's a beaut. But, then we went underneath and saw all the concrete and steel beams. Glad it's still standing though.

Always a treat to see a covered bridge in use. This one is typical of a single lane, but it's longer than most. It runs over a beautiful stream that happened to be doubling as a swimming hole the day I visited. Must see.

Classic covered bridge set over a picturesque stream that invites you to put your toes in. We did a little bird-watching and enjoyed the peace of nature.

Quick detour off I81. Highly recommend!!!! Nice pull off lot just beyond one end so you can get out and walk to the bridge. Beautiful spot for photographs. First time at covered bridge for our two teens and they were even impressed.

Our son and new daughter in law were married at the opening of the bridge. The perfect sun light and the scenery makes for a memorable wedding site. We even had the cooperation of the fantastic Mount Jackson law enforcement to hold up traffic for...More

If you love covers bridges, it is definitely worth stopping by. If you are looking for some epic historic site, but aren't a covered bridge person, then don't bother. There's no historic information posted anywhere, that I saw. The bridge, however, is wonderfully maintained and...More

As a man with a fetish for bridges, I made my boyfriend stop here on a recent trip and we kissed in the middle of the bridge on a sun dappled summer afternoon.
