My boys enjoyed looking at the turtles and snakes in the visitor center. The trail we hiked was even and smooth; we easily pushed the jogging stroller. Our boys loved walking out onto the piers and bridges to watch turtles swimming in the water.

Read this review with the understaning we are not newbees to camping and I went with my 4 and 6 yr olds,... More

We grilled with our family here and enjoyed being under a pavilion with a view of a stream. Nice trails.

I went to the Nature Park to just enjoy nature at its purest. I went to find a quiet place where I could meditate and relax.

The Bark Park was amazing and shaded which was very nice on such a hot day. The dogs were well behaved and the owners very attentive.

We have walked/biked many of the trails and have enjoyed the views of the pond as well as the woods. The birds are varied and prolific. There is a large playground for the kids with restrooms right there. The shelters are well maintained and we've used multiple locations for different family/school events. You can also rent kayaks/canoes to paddle the... More

Sandy Bottom has a good walking trail. Some parts of the trails are shaded and perfect on a hot summer day. But beware of trail conditions after a hard rain. Many areas of the trail get washed out or extremely muddy. Some trails have snake warning signs. I am glad to report that so far I have yet to see... More
