Yes, the lack of a center aisle is a hassle for seating and could be dangerous in an emergency. That said, the venue is otherwise very nice, with wonderful acoustics and sight lines. I've never had a bad seat. Eclectic mix of shows each season,...More

By offering a wide variety of performances the Center for the Arts provides current venues of popular classical and pop entertainment. A real plus for Northern Virginia and DC metro area residents, and others.

A really nice theater in central Faifax. Nice facility. Comfortable. Easy parking. Easy access. They could use better acts and attractions. And their marketing is poor. But if you like what they are showing, you will have a good evening.

We enjoyed seeing a performance of the Vienna Boys Choir here this month, however, the venue was pretty average. Performance space is plain and does not stand out in any way. Small bathrooms on main floor meant long lines at intermission for men and women.

Have been to many events here over the years from Classical Music to Opera to British Military Bands. The room is exquisitely designed: never had a bad seat regardless of where I was sitting or the nature of the event.
