This is a small man made Lake with a very nice mile and a half trail around the lake. The woods are dense enough, you can quickly forget you're in the midst of a massive residential zone. The small playground isn't much to speak of; the real star is the lakeside trail. Parking is limited and most use is by those who live in the neighborhood.

This is one of the nicest little flood control lakes in NOVA. It has a little bit for everyone — wilderness, scenery, solitude, a two- mile loop walk, fitness stations, playground, beach, and a well-maintained trail. It is cool.

Cute little lakeside park with a 2-mile walking path around the lake, picnic tables, a playground, birds, deer, squirrels, fixed workout equipment, apparently you can go fishing here... There's a lot in this quaint park.

Some open sections half under cover of trees. Went early am did 5 laps about a mile each trip. Several entrances came in by tennis courts thank goodness for my phone. Spending my days walking every morning trying to lose weight. Was up to 10,000 steps until I went back to helping in the office. Only walking on weekends.

We used to live close to this lake and would take walks around it often. We'd sometimes get up early for a jog. It takes a bit under an hour to walk around the lake. The paths are well maintained, and the views are lovely. There is a great park on one side of the park. The other side features a great hill that is popular for sledding in winter. Great place year round!

Good hiking around lake, hilly terrain but used by families with kids. Well-worn trails. Large playground with equipment; athletic fields for soccer leagues. Small parking lot, but street parking available at two ends of park.
