Leah poured our wines and did a fantastic job. The vineyard has new steps down to the winery. They now serve delicious pizza as well as baguettes. Danny let us borrow his binoculars to look at the amazing view.

Took a chance on a long drive to this winery and weren't disappointed. Wines (both red and white) are above average. We would recommend the reserve chardonnay or the Five. The staff are extremely friendly and provide a nice tasting experience. The tasting room is...More

Let's start with the obvious about Stone Mountain. It is well off the beaten path and the last two miles is up a (mostly) single lane road where if you meet someone along the way, someone has to back up to a wider spot to...More

Wife and I stopped here on a Tuesday afternoon and received a personal tour from the new owner. OMG what a view this place has from the huge deck of a beautiful tasting room. New owners have many plans to grow and expand this little...More

We stopped here while going to several vineyards in the area. It's definitely off the beaten path. I recommend either all-wheel or 4-wheel drive to get here as you have to wind up the mountain. But if you have the right car, it's a really...More

I did my homework before traveling to Stone Mountain Vineyards, but words in the reviews didn't do this place justice in two ways. The road up is steep, narrow, and over two miles. Glad we made it, because the view is breath taking. Oh, nearly...More

Luckily, this was our first stop of the day -- had it been our 3rd or 4th, I'm not sure we would have made it up the rough terrain! But, once you are finally at the top of the mountain, it will be worth it....More

Loved the wine! I usually don't care for wine and don't speak wine snob but we treked up to this vineyard without knowing what we were about to get into. I was pleasantly surprised at how many different types they had and the flavors. My favorite...More

I was absolutely sure I was going to die on the drive up the narrow gravel road with no guard rails and sheer sides on the way up to the vineyard. Lucky for me the prospect of trying to turn around was even more terrifying....More

Most of the reviews are spot on. Use directions from website which work as very few signs posted and GPS will take you a different route. The ride up the mountain is challenging but doable. Fortunately we did not meet anyone going the opposite direction...More
