Remote location but convenient location to venture away from the hectic city. The property is beautiful and arranged with outdoor sitting areas. Inside, is quaint and inviting. I'm not big on cider but they sell several flavors. Visited with family and we felt relaxed and not rushed. Also available, the hostess said you can order pizza from a near-by place... More

What an amazing place hidden in the back country of Virginia. Beautiful setting. Family, kids, animal friendly. The cider tasting is reasonable priced. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and fantastic. I would suggest take a picnic along to enjoy the outdoors after tasting.

Cobbler mtn has good cider and a beautiful tasting room (and location), but the cider is rather pricey. It's nice that they serve both wine and cider if you have a picky group, but the cider tasting bar is hidden in the back, which is a bit weird.

This winery is sort of remote in its locale but was on the way to two other wineries I wanted to see so I swung in. I got there much earlier than I intended and in doing so ran in to the owners as they were heading out. They were super nice and welcoming. Once it was about time to... More

A purchased a prepaid for this facility for my wedding anniversary. We did use it until recently. The day started off lovely, temps in the 70s. As we got closer to the winery it was obvious that the weather was changing. The tasting room is small, parking difficult ands not sure why they allow dogs. Hubby had his leg beat... More

Went out on the last beautiful weather day of the fall with the intent of going to a nearby winery. We instead ended up here. Great stumble upon, for certain. We tried the wine tasting, which was a bit underwhelming, and the cider tasting, which was exceptional. The drive out is off the beaten path, and the place is small... More

Well off the "beaten path". Driving on gravel/dirt roads to reach Cobbler Mountain Cellars. However, it was worth the trip. Staff is helpful and friendly. Nice selection of ciders. Very reasonable prices. Had a great time. Some seating outside, if the weather permits, or bring your own chair/blanket and enjoy yourself with a tasty cider. Looking forward to our return... More

Recently went to the Cobbler Mountain Cellars. The wine tasting was less than expected but worth the $8. The cider tasting was fantastic. We had a large group that made the experience more fun. We sat at a picnic table and enjoyed the scenery, a glass of cider and great conversation. Even though the drive was a little long, if... More

Talk about a picture perfect view. Excited to stop here for the winery but we actually fell in love with the cider. It is so good and they have so many varieties. Check back often -- we will-- as seasons dictate the flavors. A must stop.

This is a very small cider operation. Their ciders are great! Not the dry type that is similar to Champagne. The sampling is reasonably priced. Great flavors with our favorites being Orange and Cinnamon Apple. You will have to travel on a gravel road to get there. [There is also a winery here that has tastings at the same location... More
