Stinson Vineyards is a family run boutique vineyard located at the scenic foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. Nestled in "downtown" White Hall, the winding driveway boasts some of the area's best views. Hands down our favorite on the Monticello trail/ Charlottesville and surrounding area. Much more enjoyable than the large corporate vineyards like Pippin Hill, Kings, Trump, etc and the wine is aaaamazing.

Just had a interesting but not so encouraging experience at Stinson. Here's how I would characterize the experience: the wine is good depending on the varietal...Sauvignon Blanc is wonderful, Chardonnay has promise, Cab Franc needs time. However, the most disappointing aspect of the experience was the customer service. The staff was fine, but the winemaker came off as snooty, unappreciative... More

Hi Thomas - We certainly appreciate your interest in our winery. The current tasting list includes 6 wines. We add a weekly "bonus pour" wine to give our customers a little something extra. In order to conserve bottles, it is unlikely that we will have something open towards the end of a vintage. Apologies if this came off as "snooty"... More

We stopped here on our wine weekend away. The wines were good. A quaint tasting room that is dog friendly. Saw my first wine fermenting egg! Definitely worth a stop.

My wife, oldest daughter and I visited Stinson Vineyards and enjoyed a beautiful view and tasting. The Chardonney is particularly good, and these Virginia wines just seem to keep getting better and better.

This is a very nice place to have a glass of wine and just have a dear conversation with your spouse, etc. Beautiful Views. Only 2 mins away from Montfair Resort also an amazing place to unwind. You have to plan a visit to these two beautiful places in Crozet.

If you are looking for a winery that is working to make a mark in wines... Go to Stinson. Daughter Rachel is now the winemaker and she is amazing! Try the full flight of wines and savor them. Also, you can Google an article from Garden & Gun about her and the winery and see what they have to say!... More

Stopped for a tasting at Stinson Vineyards last weekend. Tasting charge is $7.00 per person. No refund of tasting fee with purchase. Tasting includes 6 wines; a nice mix of reds and whites. Tasting room was packed and lots of folks were picnicking outdoors to enjoy the wine and vineyard views. We thought all of the wines were excellent; some... More

My husband and I stopped by the winery while vacationing in Charlottesville. It's a smaller winery with some beautiful views. I did a wine tasting of a few of the wines and found one that I really liked. They have lots of outdoor seating and the views of the winery are just beautiful. A very enjoyable experience!

They offer a good variety of red and white wines. Great view of the mountains from the outdoor seating area. They're also dog friendly so they can go into the tasting room with you!

View was nice. Winery was OK. Wines were OK. I was not impressed. The whites were nothing special. The reds were just OK. The desert was nice.
