For the most part in really good condition, but be sure to stay on the fairway, as it is very easy to loose your ball among the leaves. Greens were pretty fast, but rolled well. Nice facilities. Great to have a course not lined by houses. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.

Played on 8/18. Course was cart path only due to several consecutive days of t'storms. The wet conditions made for soggy fairways especially from inside 100 yards. That made it easy to make divots without making clean contact with the ball. I saw a lot more bare spots throughout the course fairways - much more than i would expect given... More

After more than a dozen rounds. They do an excellent job of hosting large groups. The outdoor staff is terrific at taking care of everyone and all the details. In fact, the only time I've had a dead cart here was NOT with a tournament group. The course is in good condition, medium challenge, beautiful setting.

My nephew chose to get married here, and my wife and I traveled five hours to attend, and we're really glad we did. It is an absolutely beautiful setting, and while we didn't have time to play any golf, I suspect it would be a fantastic venue for that exercise. The reception that followed the wedding ceremony was excellent, with... More

Was paired for a round here with three great guys (Cheers Eric, Dave and Lee). Its about 30 to 40 mins drive/cab from DC. The layout is superb and with the trees changing colour it was extremely picturesque. Each hole feels on its own. The Par 3s are not long but there's water on most. Fairways are pretty wide so... A beautiful layout designed by Freddy Couples! Course was in amazing shape. Challenging, and yet really playable. The best of both worlds. Certainly, a top two or three course in the DC metro area. Decent deals on their website and golfnow.com. Certainly feels like a private club. The ONLY negative thing I can say about the club is the way... More

Fred Couples designed course is a must play in Northern Virginia. Greens and fairways are always in beautiful condition, and the layout is very challenging for all handicaps. Pro Shop, Clubhouse and Practice Facility are First Class. Professional Golf Fitting Facility located at Practice Range.

Westfields is a unique layout in Northern Virginia as it's routed through a forest/preserve without any homes or development along the course with each hole isolated and unique. It's an interesting layout by Fred Couples with a variety of tee boxes including the Boom Boom back tees which play to around 6,900 yards with a 138 slope. You'll find it... More

Liked: The course set-up. I did not get a "Yardage Book," so if you have never played there before, be sure to ask for one. Worth it for $5 or less. Otherwise you will be dependent on your own range finder and the hole displays at each tee. One thing I did not care for, but it might not bother... More

Great golf course. Quiet, in the woods, not surrounded by homes. Course is challenging but not overwhelming to a weekend golfer. It is very well maintained. The staff is outstanding. You feel like you're a member of private course when you play.
