The Trump Winery is top shelf. The wine is very good, the staff is pleasant and helpful, and the scenery is gorgeous. The drive is also impressive--combine it with another local winery or a drive along the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah N.P. for a wonderful afternoon.

We've been before, a couple of years ago and it was beyond crowded then. We just went today, on a rainy winter Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. The tasting was OK, wines tasted nice, but the guy giving us the tasting was a little uptight and not as friendly as we would expect. The tasting room is really pretty,... More

We visited on a Friday afternoon on the day of Trump's inauguration. It was crowded but we managed to get a table and had lunch and a bottle of wine. The service was attentive and friendly, despite the crowd. The tasting room was small with a rustic, lodgy feel. The cheese board was excellent. The BLT was also fabulous. The... More

Worth going for the nice scenery, but the wine offered through the tasting room was disappointing. Cab Sauv seemed thin or watery, not the full robust flavor. The Chardonnay had a slightly bitter aftertaste. Keep in mind that 'award winning wine' is an easily acquired accolade, as most wineries get mentioned for at least one of their wines in the... More

This was our first visit to Trump Winery and we were pleased with the wine, but the staff is not very friendly . We felt we were rushed with the tasting and the person was not very knowledgeable about the wines or the vineyards. We were only 1 of 2 folks who were tasting so they weren't that busy. We... More

On a very cold day, my wife and I visited the Trump Winery. We have visited many wineries in the past - most of whom give tours of their facility. That's not the case with the Trump Winery - it's a tasting room experience only. So, while the wine is very good, the experience is disappointing at best.

We expected to find great wine, great food, and a beautiful facility. It was all that and more. To our surprise, the food menu was more extensive than most wineries. (Delicious!)

I loved going to this winery. It's out in the country as a lot of them are in this area. The road winds up past Monticello and the trip up the mountain itself was worth the trip. We did the tasting and purchased some delicious wine. They also serve food here and it smelled amazing. This winery overlooks the vineyards,... More

This is a nice stop if your in the area though we drove 3 hours to get there thru a small snow storm. The wine is good but you must try the CRU, it's the best! We had lunch there and it was delicious. The staff was very professional and friendly. I will be going again when the spring comes... More

Stopped here for a tasting. The atmosphere is quaint, service was good, and views were amazing. The Blanc du Blanc is definitely the highlight of the tastings!! Making America Great Again, one glass of wine at a time!!
