It's great that this is another winery that uses VA oak for its chardonnay (they also use oak from KY or MO). I think Rappahannock also uses VA oak for its chardonnay but that was back in 2012. Liked the traminette and sangiovese

Very nice. You are like family when you walk in the door. Great wines for a new (1 year) winery. Bay Blu is great white. My husband loves chamborcin ( out right now, but shouldn't be too long).

We enjoyed our visit to Caret Cellars! They were very friendly and we enjoyed the oysters we had for the Oyster Crawl. The wines are actually quite tasty. The vineyards are a few years old, but the winery is just open a year! Great job...More
