We love the Cape Charles Beach! It was clean and water is calm compared to the ocean! My one-year-old was able to sit and play in the water and I didn't have to worry about her getting hit by waves.

Our last night in Cape Charles and we got the most gorgeous sunset photos. Breathtaking! This was one of the highlights of our trip.

Be very, very careful of speed limit signs though. We missed one coming into town and got a hefty ticket.

No fee! There is sometimes a problem with parking along the beach but as long as you are respectful of residents' driveways, there is not a problem using the side streets for parking. Lovely beach, especially for children... More
