We rented kayaks for the day here. For a small fee they drove us and the kayaks to the local lake (you can also take the equipment and drive yourself). The service was very friendly and efficient. The young woman who helped us, Cassidy, was really nice. She handled the equipment like a champ, answered all our questions and even recommended some restaurants and shops. Would definitely use them again.

There was 6 in our group for my dad's 83rd birthday! This has been on his bucket list and he felt very special here at Zoar. Brian and Soliel were amazing guides that made us all feel like we were their only zip liners. Making things fun all the while insuring our safety. You got do this!!

I had a wonderful 3-plus hr trip at the Somerset Reservoir with Molly, the Zoar Outdoors guide yesterday. Molly is very friendly, patient and a great conversationalist. As an outdoor enthusiast, she does all sorts of outdoor sports. I had a great time listening to her stories and came away with the thought that I might try some more outdoor sports myself in the future! The river is quite nice and is easy to paddle for beginners. Powerboat has a speed limit here and I saw probably just a couple afar which didn't come to our path. A few other kayakers we bumped into but most of the journey. It's a nice experience overall, I will try their guided tour on the Harriman Reservoir next.

A bunch of us "guys" used to regularly white water raft with Zoar. Life intervened and we stopped. This past weekend we rafted again with Zoar. They are unbelievably professional and able to accommodate the gamut from sole paddlers to large groups. this trip we were a group of 11. In the past they have accommodated a group of 28. They have a number of trips that cater to different levels of white water. All of their trips coincide with dam releases, so you are guaranteed white water. We plan on recommencing our annual Zoar outings.

Actually stopped in looking for directions and the girl who helped us was amazing! She actually pulled out a map and showed us better options for what we wanted. I was so impressed with her! Thank you for making us feel like a friend instead of a stranger!
