What a great experience for the whole family to visit this wonderfully preserved old building in Weston. It’s a great window into our past for young and old alike.

We recently visited Weston in the "off" season which is between leaf peeping and ski season. That said, many of the attractions including the Weston Mill had already closed for the season at the end of October. Still it was a lovely place to see...More

Stopped by when there was no milling staff about and as I guide in an old watermill would have been nice to swap some stories. The resident tinsmith was very friendly and gave me quite a bit of local info.

We visited a great museum and witnessed a cool demo of wooden shingles being cut by a machine that was almost 100 years old. Hats off to the volunteers that manned the machinery and museum.

If you are staying in Weston or just passing through, this is a place to stop and see technology in its early stages. Also, tinsmith was there, we purchased real "tinsel" to put on our Christmas tree!

We went to visit the Mill museum and it is certainly a great place to absorb early American technology and know-how! What was even more fascinating was the museum of a colonial era residence immediately next door that dates from 1795 and was occupied until...More

Stewardship and conservation at it's highest level. The volunteer Mill Guide was highly informed about the workings of the mill workings and area and town historical data. He had really good people skills and was able to keep your interest for the better part of...More
